SKATESGIVING 2026 🏒🦃

Thanksgiving Day | Thursday, November 26, 2026

GIVE THANKS. PLAY HOCKEY. GIVE BACK.

There's no better way to start Thanksgiving than on the ice!

Join the Grand Junction Hockey Club RiverHawks for Skatesgiving 2026, a Thanksgiving Day drop-in hockey fundraiser bringing together youth players, coaches, alumni, and our local hockey community for a morning of fun, friendly competition, and giving back!

Proceeds from Skatesgiving will directly support GJHC players and families through financial assistance, player scholarships, tournament fees, ice costs, and other hockey-related expenses. Every registration helps create more opportunities for our RiverHawks athletes!

HOW SKATESGIVING WORKS

Skatesgiving is a fun, informal drop-in hockey event! Players register for their designated session, and teams will be randomized as participants arrive and take the ice.

Whether you're looking for some friendly competition or simply want to enjoy the game before Thanksgiving festivities begin, Skatesgiving is a great opportunity to get on the ice while supporting local youth hockey.

JERSEY REQUIREMENT: All players must bring BOTH a WHITE (light) and BLACK (dark) jersey for team assignments.

Whether you're a current RiverHawk, former player, coach, hockey parent, or member of our local hockey community, your participation makes a difference.

If you cannot attend and would still like to donate, or if you need further information, please contact Director of Hockey, Jackson Wilson at jwilson@riverhawksc.com.

Give Thanks. Play Hockey. Give Back.

Happy Thanksgiving from the GJHC RiverHawks!
